Amidst the scandal of high school faculty illegally reading students’ medical records, we find a new quandary:
HIPAA or FERPA?
On September 24, 2025, Timothy Farquer and two others were arrested for illegally accessing students’ medical records and putting them in a database to share.
The following legal breakdown found that they had violated FERPA laws, not HIPAA privacy laws.

Millions of voters could see the barrier to entry for voting become insurmountable, just weeks before the elections.

THE SAVE ACT
The passing of the SAVE Act would create legal barriers to voting for Millions of Americans. The bill has been working through Congress and has not passed, but it has gotten very close.
The immediate impact of the bill would require anyone registering to vote to have forms of identification that are, in some instances, physically impossible to change.

“A house can be rebuilt, a home take a bit more work”
– In 2021, wildfires raged across the Pacific Northwest for weeks, decimating forests and towns. We documented the recovery efforts of a local Knights of Columbus chapter as they helped to rebuild.
UKRAINE WAR RELIEF: SCYTHIAN
“For those that carried us when times were dark.
– In the midst of Covid 19 and the Ukraine war, the band Scythian, made up of 2 brothers from Ukraine, decided to stream their music live on Facebook. Donating all of their proceeds to the relief effort.
